1. Introduction to basic knowledge of color coating roll

Basic concept of color coated plate: on the continuous unit, cold rolled strip steel and galvanized strip steel (electro galvanizing and hot galvanizing) are used as the substrate. After surface pretreatment (degreasing and chemical treatment), one or more layers of liquid paint are coated by roll coating method. The plate obtained after baking and cooling is the coated steel plate. At present, there are back (bottom) paint and surface (front) paint coatings in China. Generally, there are one layer of back paint and two layers of top paint in China, and two layers of top paint in foreign business. Because the coating can have various colors, it is customary to call the coated steel plate color coated steel plate.

Color steel plate is widely used, with the characteristics of no pollution, excellent weather resistance, corrosion resistance and high processing. Color steel plate is widely used in construction, household appliances, transportation, packaging, machining, interior decoration, medical treatment, automobile industry, etc.

2. Application of color coated roll

Color coating roll is a product based on hot-dip galvanized plate, hot-dip aluminum zinc plate, electro galvanized plate, etc. after surface pretreatment (chemical degreasing and chemical conversion treatment), one or more layers of organic coatings are coated on the surface, and then baked and cured. Its main purposes are:

  1) It has light weight, beautiful appearance and good anti-corrosion performance, and can be processed directly. It is mainly used in advertising industry, construction industry, home appliance industry, electrical appliance industry, furniture industry and transportation industry.

  2) The coating used for the color coating roll shall select the appropriate resin according to the different application environment, such as polyester silicon modified polyester and polyvinyl chloride   Alkene plastic sol, polyvinylidene chloride, etc. Users can choose according to the purpose.

 3. Coating structure type of color coating roll

2 / 1: apply twice on the upper surface, once on the lower surface and bake twice.

2 / 1m: the upper and lower surfaces are coated twice and baked once.

2 / 2: the upper and lower surfaces shall be coated twice and baked twice.

V use of different coating structures:

2 / 1: single layer back paint has poor corrosion resistance and scratch resistance, but has good adhesion. It is mainly used in sandwich panels;

2 / 1m: the back paint has good corrosion resistance, scratch resistance and processing formability, and has good adhesion. It is suitable for single-layer profiled plate and sandwich plate.

2 / 2: the double-layer back paint has good corrosion resistance, scratch resistance and processing formability. Most of it is used for single-layer profiled plate, but its adhesion is poor, so it is not suitable for sandwich plate.

5. Product features

1) It has good durability, corrosion resistance and longer service life compared with galvanized steel plate;

2) It has good heat resistance and is not easy to change color at high temperature compared with galvanized steel plate;

4) It has similar processability and spraying performance with galvanized steel plate;

5) Good welding performance.

6) It has good performance price ratio, durable performance and competitive price. Therefore, whether architectural designers, engineers or manufacturers have been widely used in industrial buildings, steel structures and civil facilities, such as garage doors, gutters and roofs.

Coated plate is also called organic coated plate or precoated steel plate. It is formed by coating or laminating various organic coatings or plastic films on the surface with metal coil (cold rolled plate, hot galvanized plate, aluminum plated plate, high aluminum alloy plate, stainless steel plate, etc.) as the substrate.
